Barbara Adams, Psy.D.
Dr. Adams received her doctorate in psychology, with a emphasis on marital and family therapy, from Alliant International University Irvine, California. She has extensive experience in treating the psychological effects of trauma resulting from violence, illness, medical trauma, and loss, including grief counseling. She is well versed in dealing with a variety of women’s issues and is particularly skilled in working with adolescents and their families.
Dr. Adams has a strong commitment to her patients. She honors the cultural diversity and individuality of her clients, recognizing that each person brings to her a unique spectrum of strengths, concerns, emotions, and personal goals.
