Carlos Rodriguez, M.D.
Dr. Carlos Rodriguez obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychobiology from the University of Southern California, with cum laude honors. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. He later completed his residency in General Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
Dr. Rodriguez is completing a fellowship specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is currently serving as the Co-Chief Fellow of the program. Dr. Rodriguez has also been with Harbor View Adolescent Center working with teenagers in a group home and residential setting over the past 2 years. Based on current research, Dr. Rodriguez feels that regular therapy and medication management is an effective way to alleviate psychiatric symptoms and return to a higher level of social, academic and interpersonal functioning.
